South & South West Wales Technology Innovation Winner

Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust – Mr Mansoor Foroughi & Mr R Hatfield. Mr Foroughi has developed, in collaboration with the private sector (Amazing Interactive, Middlesbrough) software for use in neurosurgery. It is unique as it allows the visualisation of actual patient data that will allow surgeons to rehearse endoscopic operations on their desktop and also has the potential to be used as a training aid. (Neither Mr Hatfield or Mr Foroughi were able to attend the ceremony, Mr Nannapaneni is pictured receiving the award on their behalf).
