South & South West Wales Service Innovation Winner

Swansea NHS Trust - Ms Melanie Lewis. Ms Lewis has established a Lymphoedema Clinic within the community to give support to patients who have undergone surgery as a result of breast cancer. Have reduced the incidence of lymphoedema from 1 in 3 to 1 in 10, this has resulted in improvements in the quality of life of people who have had to undergo surgery. Waiting list times have been eliminated.
